Drunk Driving, Shoplifting and Drug Charges Fill Weekly Docket

Arrest log for Feb. 7-13

West Hartford: Amanda M. Ozment, 30, 375 Oakwood Avenue, was charged with evading responsibility, operating with registration/license/suspended/revoked and operating while under the influence on Feb. 7. Bond was set at $1,500.

 50 Fairlee Road: Patrick J. Scribner, 23, 50 Fairlee Road, was charged with operating while under the influence and traveling too fast for conditions on Feb. 7. Police said he performed an unintended 360-degree spinout near the intersection of Mountain and Ridgewood Roads. Bond was set at $1,000.

West Hartford: Robert S. Schwartz, 49, 46 Arlington Road, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana, illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on Feb. 7. Bond was set at $2,000.

West Hartford: Marlon O. Morgan, 30, 18 Steven Street, Apt. A, was charged with third-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and injury/risk/impairing morals on Feb. 7. Police said a verbal altercation with his girlfriend escalated, and he smashed the TV against the wall, breaking the TV. All the events were done in the presence of their four-year-old son, said police. Bond was set at $5,000.

Page Avenue/Newington Road: Victor E. Jarvis, 43, 46 Kenneth Street, Hartford, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on Feb. 7. Bond was set at $1,000.

West Hartford: Elisabeth M. Peterson, 24, 16 Munchausen Avenue, Bristol, was turned over to another police department due to an active warrant out of Bristol on Feb. 7. No bond was set.

103 Raymond Road: Sylvia Uryga, 24, 117 Harvest Lane, Plantsville, was charged with first-degree failure to appear on Feb. 8. Bond was set at $15,000.

Farmington Avenue/South Highland Street: James R. Nadeau, 45, 4 Concord Street, Apt. A2, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief on Feb. 8. Bond was set at $500.

103 Raymond Road: Lisa Espinosa, 42, 39 Glenbrook Road, was charged with disobeying an order of an officer and simple trespass on Feb. 8. Police said she turned herself in on a valid arrest warrant. Bond was set at $1,000.

East Hartford Police Department: Mary Carmela Babin, 54, 43 Spalding Circle, East Hartford, was charged with criminal violation of a protective order, non-threatening, on Feb. 9. Bond was set at $5,000.

West Hartford: Lucia Mirmina, 64, 38 John Street, New Britain, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Feb. 9. Police said she took the price tags off merchandise at Sears and concealed them in a shopping bag. Bond was set at $500.

103 Raymond Road: Elizabeth M. Dolan, 49, 1255 Waterbury Road, Thomaston, was charged with evading responsibility, failure to obey control signal and operating while under the influence on Feb. 9. Police said she turned herself in on an arrest warrant on Jan. 11. Bond was set at $10,000.

West Hartford: Martin Vlosismir Perez, 41, 87 Franklin Avenue, Hartford, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on Feb. 9. Bond was set at $2,500.

West Hartford: Maria Clara Menezes, 53, 37 Kingston Street, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct on Feb. 9. Police said she was involved in a dispute with her neighbor. Bond was set at $500.

110 Beechwood Road: Brian T. McNally, 18, 200 Woodrow Street, Apt. D, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana on Feb. 10. Bond was set at $500.

101 Lafayette Street: Cameron J. West, 28, 46 Cottage Grove Circle, Bloomfield, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief on Feb. 10. Bond was set at $15,000.

West Hartford: Joshua T. Marion, 20, 273 White Street, Hartford, was charged with third-degree burglary, two counts of second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree larceny on Feb. 10. Police said he turned himself in on an active burglary warrant. Bond was set at $5,000.

West Hartford: James R.Widdecomb, 19, 195 Sigourney Street, Apt. C-7, Hartford, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana on Feb. 10. No bond was set.

West Hartford: Blaise R. Gilchrist, 20, 43 Newbury Street, Hartford, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on Feb. 10. Police said he turned himself in on an active warrant. Bond was set at $15,000.

West Hartford: Albert J. Perrotta, 49, 1 Broad Brook Road, Broad Brook, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Feb. 10. Police said he shoplifted at Sears. Bond was set at $500.

 West Hartford: Denis Flannery, 45, 37 Somerset Street, was charged with operating while under the influence and unsafe backing on Feb. 10. Bond was set at $5,000.

 New Britain Avenue/Cambridge Street: Rickie G. Haines, 30, 70 Sims Road, Bristol, was charged with two counts of illegal possession, failure to keep drug in original container and failure to have tail lamps on Feb. 10. Bond was set at $2,500.

West Hartford: Alesandro Lomaglio, 48, 149 Forest Drive, Newington, was charged with operating while under the influence and failure to drive in proper lane on Feb. 11. Bond was set at $1,000.

West Hartford: Joseph Gonzalez, 18, 18 Preston Street, Hartford, was charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, fifth-degree larceny, third-degree larceny and second-degree burglary on Feb. 11. Police said he turned himself in on active warrants.  Bond was set at $15,000.

West Hartford: Papilon A. Ferreiras, 19, 245 South Elm Street, Windsor Locks, was charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree larceny and fifth-degree larceny on Feb. 11. Police said they arrested him at his place of employment on an active burglary warrant. Bond was set at $15,000.

Hartford: Jonathan Felix, 21, 820 Wethersfield Avenue, Apt. C11, Hartford, was charged with second-degree and third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree larceny and fifth-degree larceny on Feb. 11. Police said he was arrested at his home on an arrest warrant stemming from a burglary at 102 Hall Street, West Hartford, and 34 Rockledge Drive, West Hartford. Bond was set at $10,000.

103 Raymond Road: Mary Cyrus, 27, 400 Maiden Lane, Durham, was charged with second-degree breach of peace on Feb. 11. Police said she was involved in an verbal argument with her sister-in-law at the Olive Garden Restaurant. Bond was set at $2,500.

939 New Britain Avenue: Robyn Ellison, 20, 26 Abbotsford Avenue, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Feb. 11. Police said she stole four roses from Family Dollar. Bond was set at $2,500.

645 Prospect Avenue: Anthony D. Garcia, 21, 136 Kane Street, Hartford, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana and simple trespass on Feb. 11. Bond was set at $1,500.

645 Prospect Avenue: Bradley P. Ferraina, 21, 126 West Street, Windsor, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, simple trespass and weapons in motor vehicle on Feb. 11. Police said during a suspicious vehicle investigation, he was found to be in possession of a marijuana bowl and a facsimile firearm. Bond was set at $1,500.

I-84 East/Exit 44:  Onell B.Monjarrez, 35, 32 Cook Avenue, Apt. B7, Meriden, was charged with failure to drive in proper lane, operating while under the influence and restricted turns fail signal on Feb. 12. No bond was set.

West Hartford: Jonathan Michelsen, 23, 157 Mansfield Avenue, New Britain, was charged with driving in right-hand lane, failure to drive in the proper lane, operating while under the influence and restricted turns fail signal on Feb. 12. Bond was set at $500.

West Hartford: Savino Melluzzo, 20, 366 Rockwood Drive, Southington, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and sixth-degree larceny on Feb. 12. Police said he broke a town gate. Bond was set at $53.

West Hartford: Matthew J. Freer, 21, 298 Deerbrooke Circle, Southington, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and sixth-degree larceny on Feb. 12. Police said he was arrested on a warrant for damaging a town gate. Bond was set at $53.

West Hartford: Justin M. Penfield, 21, 39 Pattonwood Drive, Southington, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and sixth-degree larceny on Feb. 12. Police said he was arrested on a warrant for damaging a town gate. Bond was set at $53.

West Hartford: Erik Christopher Sanderson, 25, 27 Fox Hill Road, South Windsor, was charged with second-degree failure to appear and failure to pay or plead on Feb. 12. Bond was set at $90.

West Hartford: Jose A. Rivera, 66, 22 Holmes Street, East Hartford, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass on Feb. 13. No bond was set.

West Hartford: Edwin Cruz, 43, 44 Grafton Street, Hartford, was charged with failure to drive in proper lane and operating while under the influence on Feb. 13. No bond was set.
