A Troubling Question, West Hartford Town Council, High School Sports

Good morning, West Hartford! Today is Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013; there are 112 days left in the year.

This isn’t my line, but I think it’s worth repeating. Once a building is completed, shouldn’t it be called a built?

Here are some things going on in town today:

1. The Town Council meets at 7:30 p.m.

2. The scholastic sports season begins anew today, with a full slate of games and matches.

3. Bagel Breakfast at the West Hartford Senior Center at 9 a.m.

4. Kindermusik with Jen at the Elmwood Community Center at 9:45 a.m.

5. Thomas Healy, professor of law, Seton Hall Law School, will discuss his new book, 'The Great Dissent: How Oliver Wendell Holmes Changed His Mind--and Changed the History of Free Speech in America' at the Noah Webster House at 6:30 p.m.
