Here’s some things going on in the area today.
1. The Board of Education is hosting a town hall-style meeting at 6 p.m. to get public input on the hiring of the new superintendent of schools.

2. Subsequent to that meeting, the school board will hold a regular meeting at 7 p.m.
3. The American School for the Deaf is hosting a tour of its new $20 million building for members of the media at 10 a.m.
4. A lot of games on tap for Conard, including field hockey at home against EO Smith, cross country against Southington and Northwest Catholic and girls swimming and diving against Rocky Hill.
