To kick off our “25 Days of Giving”, the girls donated toys to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center today at MAX Downtown’s Annual Teddy Bear Tea. It was a lovely and sweet afternoon, filled with delicious treats, live music and awonderful way for children to give back.
As one of Hartford’s premier restaurants, MAX Downtown embodies the true meaning of the holiday spirit at this special event. Throughout the afternoon, the restaurant invites their young guests to donate new toys to children who come to Connecticut Children’s for care. As the only independent children’s hospital between Boston and New York, Connecticut Children’s is an amazing place, and one in which our family holds near and dear to our hearts. It is only fitting that we would kick off our “25 Days of Giving” by giving back to such a special place and helping to put a smile on a child’s face.
