80 Years, 80 Days of Art!
You can help celebrate the West Hartford Art Leagues 80th Anniversary without even leaving home. All you need to do is log onto our website to view 80 years, 80 days of art at www.westhartfordart.org/80-days-of-art/
A new artist will be added each day, to promote our 80th Anniversary by featuring work by artists who are part of our organization. The West Hartford Art League currently has over 700 members who take classes, enter our exhibits and support our non-profit organization. All the artwork on the 80 Years, 80 Days of Art page is also for sale by contacting the Art League at (860) 231-8019.
The West Hartford Art League is a non-profit organization that has focused on community and art education since 1934. Started in the old “West School” on Mountain Road, we now have three buildings that comprise our campus where we offer four sessions of instruction throughout the year, including a summer camp every July. We produce projects that have included ArtWalk, the bus shelters throughout West Hartford , and have placed sculpture through town with our Art In Public Places program. Our two galleries offer monthly exhibits of local and regional artists that are free and open to the public.
