2013 CONARD and HALL graduates Caitlin Piker and Adam Reiser “Reported-In” to the US Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT on Monday July 1rst, just a week after graduating from their respective high schools.
The approximately 235 freshman cadets will spend the next 7 weeks in “Swab Summer” (boot camp) prior to the their academic year starting toward the end of August. They will spend 4 years at the Academy and graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree and then “serve” our country through the Coast Guard for 5 years thereafter.
