Join us for a monthly series entitled Cooks & Books, where top chefs from around Connecticut come to discuss their favorite cookbook as well as their restaurants. Each chef’s all-time favorite cookbook will be revealed at the beginning of the event. This series discussion will be hosted by Sara Conner http://www.saraconner.net/.
Cooks & Books starts on Sept. 17 with the iconic BILLY GRANT, owner of Restaurant Bricco and Grants in West Hartford, as well as Bricco Trattoria in Glastonbury. Billy Grant partnered at age 29 with his brothers to open Restaurant Bricco in West Hartford Center and in 2001 opened Grants Restaurant and Bar around the corner. Mr. Grant has won many “best chef” accolades and his award winning restaurants have earned mention on Oprah and in Esquire magazine.
