We are a small, private Debate and Public Speaking School for children of all ages. We are excited to announce that this summer we will be offering two one-week sessions in a beautiful location in Avon. Our 2012 Debate and Public Speaking Summer Program is appropriate for 8 to 14 year olds. All levels are welcome; no prior experience is necessary. We will be dividing into groups based on age and experience. Please see the following flyer for details:
2012 DEBATE AND PUBLIC SPEAKING SUMMER PROGRAM
You each have a voice and it is very important. Learning to be an effective public speaker and debater will allow your voice to be heard. Come learn the Art of Debate and Public Speaking in a fun, cooperative and supportive environment. We have a wonderful week (or weeks) planned for you.
WHEN:
Policy Debating: June 18th – June 22nd
Parliamentary Debating: June 25th – June 29th
Monday – Thursday each week - 9 to 3:30
Fridays – 9 – 5:30 Families are invited to come at 3:30 to watch their children debate and give examples of types of public speaking. A potluck meal will follow.
WHO: Ages 8 to 14. Debaters will be grouped based on age and experience. All levels welcome; no prior experience necessary.
