High Holiday Food Drive for Kosher Food Pantry

Jewish Family Services serves families facing financial setbacks, isolated elderly and disabled adults living on meager incomes, as well as unemployed adults in need of assistance.  Please help make a difference in their lives!  Please drop off your donations in the Community Room at Beth El Temple on Kol Nidre (Friday evening October 7th).  Food, toiletries, and cleaning supplies are accepted.  All food items must have a hechsher symbol indicating that the item is kosher.  For more information please contact Sharon at 860-677-9704 or ms.lib@comcast.net.  Volunteers are also needed to organize and pack the donated items on Sunday morning October 9th from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.  For more information about this program please contact Nancy Rosen at nrosen@ssds-hartford.org.
