JAMQUEST HOOPS

We are hosting a charity basketball tournament called JAMQUEST HOOPS at Conard High School on Friday, March 8.

JAMQUEST HOOPS is a three-on-three basketball tournament service project to help kids in poverty and depravation in Kenya, Africa. JAMQUEST HOOPS partners with the organization HOPEworldwide to provide orphans and vulnerable children in Kenya with basic necessities such as food, clothing, and medicine, and the main focus has been providing these children with educational opportunities to help make their own dreams a reality.

We are looking for anyone in high school or older to participate in our tournament. There will be a high school league beginning at 6 p.m. at Conard High School. The cost is $15 a team spread out among the three team members.

There will also be an open/older league at 7 p.m. at Conard High School. The cost is $30 a team spread out among the three team members as well.

If you are interested in playing or donating to this cause, please contact Sarah Allen at saysay712@yahoo.com or (860)833-0960 or Becky Hoisl at sportschick997@yahoo.com.

We will also be having a benefit night at Cosi in West Hartford Center from 5 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, March 3 where a portion of the proceeds will go to JAMQUEST HOOPS. Please come out and support this great cause!

If you want more information please visit www.jamquesthoops.com or www.hopeww.org or contact Sarah Allen or Becky Hoisl.
