Kingswood Oxford’s Kelly Caruso Commits to Quinnipiac for Soccer

Kelly Caruso, a standout athlete at Kingswood Oxford, today signed a letter of intent to play soccer at Quinnipiac University, a Division 1 school. She plans to pursue a physician assistant degree.

The daughter of Susan and Thomas Caruso of Rocky Hill, Caruso has been a key player on KO’s Girls’ Soccer team for four years. This year, she served as co-captain.

A member of the KO team that won the New England Prep School Athletic Council Class B Championship in 2010, Caruso was named to the All-WWNEPSSA (Women’s Western New England Prep School Soccer Association) Team in 2011 and 2012. She was also named All-State in 2011 and was KO’s team MVP this year.

Caruso is a standout off the field, as well. In addition to making the Honor Roll all four years, she has been an active participant in community service at KO, including traveling to Paraguay with KO’s signature service group, Team Tobati.

And, she serves as one of only 14 “prefects” -- seniors elected by faculty and students to serve as role models and advisors to underclassmen.

Nurturing well-rounded student-athletes is a cornerstone of a Kingswood Oxford education. For information about enrollment, contact admissions@k-o.org.
