Who needs New York? There will be a city's worth of entertainment at Northwest Catholic on Sat., Nov. 17, 2012, as the Parents' Club hosts the 29th annual "Saturday Night Live," the school's most important fundraiser.
The halls will be bustling from 6:30pm until midnight, with classrooms, corridors and the cafeteria transformed into an amazing variety of entertainment venues, including an International Food Court, the Starlight Dessert Café, or the always crowded Comedy Room, to name just a few.
This year also features first-time SNL entertainer Lonesome Eddie and the Bird Dogs, who will be performing in the Irish Pub all evening.
The Silent Auction promises to be bustling once again, as bidders compete for tickets, jewelry, vacation homes, gift baskets and more.
All adults age 21 and older are invited to attend. For tickets ($20 per person, or $25 at the door) or to make a donation, contact Jane Leary at jleary@nwcath.org or 860-236-4221, x131.
Since 1961, Northwest Catholic’s mission has been to educate the whole person: mind, body, spirit, and soul. Enrollment for the Class of ’17 is now under way, and prospective students are invited to take the entrance exam on Dec. 1, 2012.
