Prospective Students Invited to Kingswood Oxford Open House on Jan. 6

Kingswood Oxford invites prospective Middle and Upper School students and their parents to attend its second Open House of the year on Sunday, Jan. 6, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

The Open House is for those who were not able to attend the initial Open House in October 2012. Click here to register.

The Open House begins with registration at 1:30, after which parents and students will be directed to sessions where teachers, current students, and administrators offer examples and insight into KO’s innovative techniques, outstanding resources, and rich student life. Student guides will be on hand throughout the day, and will also offer insights during a question-and-answer panel discussion. The event will end at 3:30pm.

“Most families understand that KO offers a terrific academic experience, but it isn’t until they visit campus and engage in conversation with our faculty and current students and parents, that they begin to realize the impact that a KO education can have on the life of their child,” said Jim O’Donnell, KO’s Director of Enrollment Management.

Families who cannot attend this Open House but wish to learn more about KO should contact the Admissions Office (860-727-5000) for a tour and interview.

For more than 100 years, Kingswood Oxford – an independent, co-ed, college prep day school in West Hartford for grades 6-12 – has inspired students to excel and to lead lives of integrity and involvement by nourishing their talents in a community of teachers, friends and families.
