Three Shakespeare Films and Lecture

The West Hartford Public Library is offering a series of films and a lecture on Shakespeare's play. King Richard III. The series supports the upcoming productions of the play, which is being staged this summer at St. Joseph College by the Capital Classics Theatre Company http://www.capitalclassics.org Film and lecture dates are: Film: Richard III (1955) starring Laurence Olivier, July 11 at 5:30 p.m.; Film: Richard III (1995) with Ian McKellen, July 12 at 3:00 p.m. Film: Looking for Richard (1996)  a documentary starring Al Pacino, July 12 at 6:30 p.m. First come, first seated for all films, no registration needed.
