University of Saint Joseph partners with Otsuma Women’s University of Japan

On February 22, the University of Saint Joseph formalized its partnership with Otsuma Women’s University in Japan with a ceremonial signing at USJ’s West Hartford campus. The signing symbolized the institutions’ partnership to promote academic and cultural exchanges between the two universities in education, research, and other activities, which is expected to begin this summer. In attendance, shown left to right: Gregory Boyko, honorary consul general of Japan; Catherine Smith, Commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development; Otsuma Women’s University President Koichi Ogiue, D.Sc.; and University of Saint Joseph President Pamela Trotman Reid, Ph.D.
