(Monday, November 19, 2012, West Hartford, CT) The Mandell JCC and the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford are co-sponsoring We Stand with Israel: An Evening of Solidarity, on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 6:00pm in the Herbert Gilman Theater at the Mandell JCC, Zachs Campus, 335 Bloomfield Ave., West Hartford, CT. The event, which is free and open to the public, is in response to the recent events and continued attacks on the nation of Israel by terror groups in Gaza.
The program will include remarks from members of the Connecticut Congressional Delegation, Greater Hartford Rabbis and community leaders.
“Hartford is joining with many Jewish communities around the world who are speaking out in support of the people and government of Israel in their struggle to combat terrorism, defend their country and seek security and peace. We are saddened by the loss of life in Israel and Gaza, and are praying for the victims and their families,” according to Cathrine Fischer Schwartz, President and CEO, Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford.
