Beth El Temple, 2626 Albany Avenue, joins with Congregation Beth Israel and The Emanuel Synagogue on Sunday November 11, 2012 to honor veterans in a Celebrate America program at 2:00 p.m.
Throughout history Jews have fought in defense of their countries and of Israel. All three synagogues will pay tribute to the courage, sacrifice and heroism of their family members and the Holocaust survivors in our community. The 2:00 p.m. program will include an Honor Guard, Roll Call, and a musical tribute followed by a “Chai Tea” of wine, cheese, dessert and a patriotic sing-along.
If you are a veteran and would like to participate in this moving program, please register in the Roll Call by letting us know when and where you served. Proudly join us wearing your service hat or as much of our uniform as possible and please bring your memorabilia. Reservations are required.
