West Hartford Babe Ruth Baseball League

2014 Registration

The West Hartford Babe Ruth League is affiliated with Cal Ripken baseball and is also a proud member of the West Hartford Amateur Baseball Association (WHABA). The league provides all West Hartford youth aged 13 – 15 (As of April 30, 2014) with a place to enjoy playing organized baseball. The focus is on playing games and having fun without missing out on your summer vacation activities. Individual instruction will be provided to those who are interested in improving their skills, but there will be very few team practices.

How to register:

1)            Registration form can be obtained at the website:  http://westhartford.baberuthonline.com

2)            Please mail form to:  Robert Reale, 17 Farm Hill Road, West Hartford, CT  06107    Please return by May 28, 2014. The registration fee is $125.00.  Checks should be made payable to West Hartford Babe Ruth Baseball.

3)            SPOTS ARE FILLED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS. 

Some facts about the West Hartford Babe Ruth Baseball League:

1)            There are no tryouts for Babe Ruth Baseball. All players are welcome.

2)            Alumni League baseball players are encouraged to play Babe Ruth baseball. The Babe Ruth season will not start until the Alumni season has ended.

3)            High School baseball players who meet the age requirements are also eligible to play Babe Ruth Baseball. The Babe Ruth season will not begin until after the High School baseball season has ended.

4)            Teams will play a 12-16 game league schedule in June followed by a short playoff in early July. 

5)            Almost all of the games will be played in West Hartford, but each team will be scheduled to play games against out of town opponents during June.

6)            There will be a max of 15 players per team and players will be assigned to teams in late May, 2014.
