debater will allow your voice to be heard. Come
learn, or perfect, the Art of Debate and Public
Speaking in a fun, supportive environment.
WHERE: Quaker Meeting House, 144 S. Quaker Lane, West Hartford 06107
WHAT: Three one-week sessions 9-3:30; Come for 1, 2 or 3 weeks!
WHEN: WEEK 1 - JUNE 9-13 Advanced Topics and Competition Prep
or One-Week session of Model UN
WEEK 2 - JUNE 16-20 Intro to Policy with Cross-Ex. Debating
or Advanced Topics and Competition Prep
WEEK 3 - JUNE 23-27 Intro to Parliamentary Debating
or Advanced Topics and Competition Prep
WHO: WEEK 1: Ages 11 to 18 - Advanced high-school and middle-school debaters; new debaters with advance permission.
WEEKS 2 and 3: Ages 8 to 16 - All levels welcome; no prior
experience necessary. For all weeks, debaters will be grouped
based on age and experience.
