Local Mortgage Company Takes Steps Against MS

CT Liberty Mortgage, LLC participated in the 2014 Walk MS on Sunday, April 6th in Cheshire.  The team worked hard this year to fundraise for the event and were able to secure 6 local company sponsorships to help them surpass their goal.  The company would like to thank Bagels Plus, Cherokee Explosives, GB Law Group, H&H Equipment Services, Pilgrim Furniture City and Plainville Showcase Auto & Recovery.  So far, CT Liberty Mortgage has raised over $3,500 and can accept donations until May 23rd.

Company owner Melissa Hayes states, “We couldn’t have done this alone.  Some of our prior customers, family and friends came together to make this a huge success.”  She adds “Fighting MS is dear to my heart as my mother-in-law is currently battling this disease. The money raised will go towards cutting-edge research, treatments and a cure.”

The National MS Society is working toward a world free of MS.  They mobilize people and resources to drive research for a cure and to address the challenges of everyone affected by MS.  To make a donation please visit www.ctlibertymortgage.com
