Rotary Committee Dresses to Plan Fundraiser!

The Rotary Club of Farmington’s Wine Tasting Committee wore their new event "uniforms" at a recent meeting as they continued to plan for the March Madness fundraising evening. Committee Chair Irene Engel is displaying a basketball, which now has Kevin Ollie's signature. At the event, fans will have an opportunity to shoot baskets to win this and other Husky treasures. They can also bid in our “bucket” raffles featuring special baskets and other prizes.

On Thursday evening, March 20th, the Rotary Club of Farmington will hold Rotary Madness in the Gardens at Farmington Gardens on Route 4 in Farmington from 6 to 9 p.m.  For all basketball fans, March Madness games will be on-screen throughout the evening.  A tasting of wines, beer, and spirits will be donated by the Bottle Shop of Unionville, and a “skybox menu” of hors d’oeuvres will be provided by local restaurants.  Tickets are $50 each and are available at the Bottle Shop of Unionville and online at www.WineInTheGardens.org
