Matthew S. Warshauer, of West Hartford, has been appointed to Connecticut Humanities Board of Directors. He is a professor of history at Central Connecticut State University and served for seven years as the editor of Connecticut History. He is also the chair and project coordinator, Connecticut Civil War Commemoration Committee and chairman of the Connecticut Old State House Advisory Committee. In addition, he serves on the American Association of State and Local History, Civil War Sesquicentennial Advisory Board.
Warshauer joins five others who are newly appointed to the board. Other new board members are Leah Hartman, of Norwalk; Charles Kochakian, of Madison; Jeffrey F.L. Partridge of Unionville; Erika M. Tindill, of New Haven; and Nancy Pritchard Weiss, of Pomfret Center.
