The Dodgers won in exciting fashion as they held off the Cardinals in the AAA championship game at the Uconn majors field.  The winning ingredients for the Dodgers all playoffs was solid pitching and timely hitting with some nice defensive plays mixed in.  Ethan Morren and Dylan Jackson combined on a 7 hitter while recording 15 K's  and only 2 walks.
Ben Brockway led the way for the Cardinals with 3 hits, RBI, run scored.  Cole Kocienda performed well on the mound for the Cardinals and also had a hit and run scored.  The biggest threat for the Cardinals came in the 4th inning as the Cardinals scored 4 runs on a walk and 4 hits.  Dylan Jackson came in for the Dodgers with 2 outs and got a much needed strike out to end the threat.
The Dodgers scored in every inning but the 5th.  Aidan Roy started the game with a solid single and later scored on an RBI double by Dylan Jackson.  Back to back hits by Ethan Morren and Ben Woerlen plated Dylan.  The Dodgers were back at in the 2nd.  Kyle Howe led off with a bunt single and later scored after a hit by Gavin Belcher who also scored on an RBI double by Keifer Morrow.  The Dodgers broke the game open in the 3rd inning with 5 runs 4 hits and a walk, including a double by Henry Schlatter.  The Dodgers scored their last run in the 4th.
