Actors Invited to Audition for West Hartford Hauntings
Tour guides, characters 11 years and older needed for late October staging.
Local actors are invited to audition for West Hartford Hauntings, an outdoor theatrical tour of the town's North Cemetery.
Hauntings is presented by the Noah Webster House in cooperation with the West Hartford Historical Society and is held before Halloween.
The tours are led by costumed guides portraying people from West Hartford’s past.
Actors must be 11 years and older, though actors, both male and female, 17 and older are especially needed. The event requires five tour guides, preferably with improvisation experience, and male and female characters ages 16 to 60.
Hauntings will be held Oct. 19, 25, 26, and 27. Rehearsals will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays in September and October.
Auditions will be held Sept. 3 and 5 from 4:30-7 p.m. at the Noah Webster House and West Hartford Historical Society, 227 S. Main St., West Hartford.
