Cancer Benefit to be Held in West Hartford

Benefit for James Jehnings of Newington who is battling bladder cancer.

The following is a press release 

On Saturday, Jan. 11, the Jehnings family of Bristol and Newington will hold a benefit, "Bladder Bucks for Jehnings", to assist James R. Jehnings in his fight against bladder cancer. 

On Aug. 12, James R. Jehnings, a current and active 3 year board member of Newington Volunteer Ambulance and the father of past chief Jamie Jehnings, was diagnosed with very aggressive bladder cancer.

We are asking your support to come out and lend a hand to him and his family while  battling this disease with the financial restraints placed on the family.
The benefit will be held at VFW 9929 on South Street in West Hartford from 4–10 p.m. There will be a pasta dinner, DJ, 50/50 & raffles and positive wishes sent to the Jehnings family while they continue to help fight battle bladder cancer.

"We look forward to our friends and family coming out to spend the evening and help support this important fight," Kathleen, James' wife of 44 years.
 
Tickets are $15 for adults & $5 for children. Tickets also available at the door.
