The second annual Connecticut Street Legends Classic Charity Car Show will take place on May 4 in the West Hartford Town Hall parking lot.

Submitted by Blue Back Square.

Car enthusiasts will take a ride back in time on May 4th in Blue Back Square.  The Connecticut Street Legends will transform the retail center into a car lot featuring some oldies but goodies.

“So many local residents have extensive and impressive classic car collections.  We really appreciate their willingness to share these classics with the public,” said Barbara Lerner, Project Marketing Manager for Blue Back Square.

The Connecticut Street Legends was formed in 2005 and is a collaboration of members from several different clubs. The members offer a varied blend of street rods, car and truck classics along with several antiques.

The show will take place at Town Hall parking lot at 50 South Main Street from 4 to 8:30 p.m. on the May 4. A rain date has been set for May 25.

The show will feature classic cars from at least 25 years ago – there is no cut off year.

The event is free to the public. Musical entertainment will be provided during the show and The CT Street Legends will be accepting donations on behalf of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation of Connecticut.

Dash plaques will be awarded to the first 200 cars with the most impressive autos receiving trophies.

There is a $10 show entrance fee for exhibitors with $5 going to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

All of the shops and restaurants in Blue Back will be open. Additionally, hot dogs, hamburgers, and refreshments will be available on site.
