Donors Needed by December 14 for Holiday Wish Tree
A 'Wish Tree' is located in the West Hartford Town Hall lobby, and interested donors can select a tag and purchase a gift card for a local child.
The annual Holiday Wish tree program run by the Department of Human and Leisure Services is underway for the 2012 holiday season.
Those interested in being a donor can go to the West Hartford Town Hall lobby and select a gift tag(s) from the tree. Each tag contains information about one particular West Hartford youngster.
This program focuses on donations of gift cards from specific local merchants to reflect the age, gender and interests of the recipient.

The gift cards are distributed at the town’s Holiday Children’s party on Dec. 18 for children from low-income families.
It is requested that all donations and gift tags returned by Dec. 14.
