First Church of the Divine Light a Christian Spiritualist church
The First Church of the Divine Light was founded in 1918 in Hartford, Connecticut to practice and promulgate the precepts of Christian Spiritualism.
At the present time, we hold worship services on Sunday afternoons from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 PM in the Chapel of the Unitarian Meeting house at 50 Bloomfield Avenue, Hartford, Connecticut.
Our order of service includes the Lord's Prayer, hymns, a healing service, a lecture, and a time when messages from Spirit are given. We are Christians and celebrate Christmas and Easter and the other Christian Holy Days, But we accept as Truth scriptures from many other religions and philosophies as well.
