Medical Mission Work throughout the World

A discussion on global health and medical mission work in impoverished countries will take place at Congregation Beth Israel on Wednesday, June 13, 7pm. A panel of medical doctors will report on their experiences in Libya, Haiti, and other countries, and global health initiatives and progress in primary care will be discussed. Participating physicians include Dr. Susan Levine, UConn internal medicine, Dr. Adam Silverman, UConn internal medicine, Dr. Lynn Kosowicz, Uconn internal medicine, Dr. Kevin Dieckhaus, UConn infectious disease, Dr. Mark Gerber, St. Francis anesthesiology, Dr. Michael Grey, Hospital of Central CT internal medicine, and Dr. David Hager, UConn cardiology
