Let it Snow for the 2013 Special Olympics Winter Games

Volunteers started making snow on Monday for this year's Special Olympics Conn. Winter Games.

Since Mother Nature may not cooperate, technology is intervening.

After setting up approximately 2,400 feet of water and compressed air piping along the cross country skiing and snowshoe courses outside of Connecticut Light & Power in Simsbury, volunteers began to make snow on Monday for the 2013 Special Olympics Conn. Winter Games.

The cross-country skiing and snowshoeing competition will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 2 - 3.
