Lyman Orchard Pie Sale Supports the West Hartford Food Pantry

Lyman Orchards pies as well as cookie dough, all delivered before the holidays, are being sold to support West Hartford charities.

The Town of West Hartford is sponsoring a fundraiser to support two local charities.

"Don't spend your time in the kitchen this holiday season when you can order delicious Lyman Orchard pies or cookie dough and support two important West Hartford charities!" reads a release issued by the Department of Human and Leisure Services.

Proceeds from pies and cookie dough sale will help support the West Hartford Food Pantry as well as the Hillcrest Area Neighborhood Outreach Center (HANOC). 

To order pies or cookie dough:

  1. Print the order form and make your selection. 
  2. Place your order by Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012. You may hand-deliver the form to Town Hall, Room 306, or Elmwood Community Center Office, or the West Hartford Senior Center at Bishops Corner OR you may mail the form to the Department of Human and Leisure Services, Room 306, 50 South Main Street, West Hartford, CT 06107. 
  3. Pick up your pies on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 between 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at the Town Hall Auditorium.

Hi Barbara, We are so sorry this happened. Last night we added 200 sites to our great new BetaRead More platform and we think that made our newsletter server go haywire. Our engineers are hard at work to fix this bug and we are hopeful that things will be much smoother on Thursday.
