Movie Trailer for 'Pawn' Showcases West Hartford Scenes

The movie's premiere date is not yet available, but the trailer, which includes scenes inside the former Friendly's – now Sweet Frog – on South Main St., has now been officially released.

West Hartford went through a Hollywood-like temporary transformation in December 2011 when a portion of West Hartford Center became the set for filming the movie "Pawn."

Many scenes from the movie, which stars Forest Whitaker, Ray Liotta, Michael Chiklis, and Nikki Reed, were shot at the former Friendly's Restaurant on South Main Street, which was transformed into the "Be Brite Diner."

Last week, that site became home to Sweet Frog Frozen Yogurt.
