Monday was one of those spring days you dream about in the middle of January.
With blue skies and a mild breeze, the temperature in West Hartford was in the mid-70s Monday afternoon, prompting any excuse to get outside and enjoy the day.
Golfers took to the course at Rockledge, shoppers strolled around the Center without jackets, restaurant patios were open, and kids enjoyed ice cream after a trip to the playground. Runners and other athletes put away sweats for the day, and probably will be seen in shorts all week as the National Weather Service forecast is for mild temperatures to continue.
West Hartford Patch took some photos of people enjoying the unseasonable conditions Monday, and invites readers to add their own.
