Service Restored on Lyman Road After Water Main Break

Break was reported around 1 a.m. in West Hartford

A small water main break on Lyman Road in West Hartford was repaired early Saturday morning, according to a Metropolitan District Commission spokesperson.

The break, which was reported around 1 a.m., was repaired and water service was restored at 3:25 a.m., according to Kerry Martin, an MDC spokesperson.

Twenty-four people were without service from Mohegan Drive to the dead end on Lyman Road during the break, Martin said.

The piped was installed in 1956, Martin said.

Anyone who is still experiencing problems with their service should call the MDC command center at 860-278-7850, x3600.
