Last week, we asked you when this store opened. The Maxwell Drug store opened in 1946 on Farmington Avenue, according to the Noah Webster House and West Hartford Historical Society. The Baptist Church and town office buildings had once been located on this busy corner.

Several of you said 1948, and that’s plenty close for me.

So what about this week? What is located in this building?

That is the old Mount St Joseph Academy (I am a member of the Class of '67); it's now the Hamilton Heights assisted living facility.

This looks like Atria Hamilton Heights to me. Formerly it was Mount St Joseph Academy ("the mount") and the training center for The Hartford run by the Sheraton.
