West Hartford History: Where Was This Photo Taken?

Test your knowledge of West Hartford history with this photo from the archives of the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society.

Last week, we featured a photo the St. Genevieve’s Library was located at Mount St. Joseph Academy on Fern Street.  The building was built in 1905 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The building housed a Catholic girl’s high school from 1906 to 1978. The library contained over 12,000 books and was donated by Mrs. Genevieve Garvan Brady. In 1996 the building was renovated for use as an assisted living facility.

Congratulations to Santa32, Connie Curcio Reder, Jean Smith and Lisa Howard, who all got the right answer. Awesome.
