West Hartford History: Where Was This Photo Taken?

Test your knowledge of West Hartford history with this photo from the archives of the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society.

Last week we showed a picture of West Hartford Center circa 1940. The picture shows a section of the businesses located in the Center on Farmington Ave.  Why did I think the Elbow Room would have been in the photo?

Anyway, congrats to Jeff Murray, Denise Elizabeth Reed and Bob Cunningham for getting the right answer.

OK, All Stars. What about this week's photo? Where was this taken? Bonus points if you can identify what decade it was taken. Let us know in the comment section below.

If you think you know the answer or have a special memory related to the photo, respond in the "Leave a comment" box below this article. We'll run the answer next Monday, along with a new historical photo.
