A West Hartford resident is seeking assistance to bring her cat, Charlie, home.

Charlie, a 5-year-old, black-and-white tuxedo cat, went missing in the area of Glenbrook Road and Park Road on Dec. 7, according to her owner Carole, who declined to give her last name.

Charlie has a sweet disposition, but she is shy because she is an indoor cat, Carole said.

Anyone who spots Charlie is advised to get down and call the cat, but not approach her.

“If she is scared enough, she will come to you,” Carole said in a telephone interview Monday.

Anyone who owns dry cat food might also try shaking some to get Charlie to approach, Carole said.

People with information are urged to call Carole at 860-919-2130. A reward is available.
