“It’s been writing music for 3 or 4 years now,” Busch said in a telephone interview. “It’s a passion of mine.”

His passion led him to record several rock/alternative songs that made their way onto Facebook and YouTube. A library employee heard some of Busch’s music, which led to the show being booked.

Though it’s the first time Busch has played such a long show alone, he’s got plenty of material, including songs by John Mayer, Green Day, Third Eye Blind, Jason Mraz, Maroon 5 and Ed Sheeran.

In the event of rain, the concert will be held in the library’s meeting room.

Busch is also working on a full-length album that he plans on releasing in the fall. He has recorded three singles "Cloudy Weather," "Unbroken," and "Beautiful" that are available on his YouTube channel. His music can also be found on the Travis Busch Music Facebook page and on iTunes.
