West Hartford's Conard Soccer Clinic a Success

More than 50 boys and girls showed up for the Conard High soccer clinic at McKee Stadium on Monday.

The children were treated to a number of drills that were run by members of the Conard High boys and girls soccer teams.

"This is all about fun," said Conard High boys soccer coach Adam Linker. "The [high school] players find out they are role models - those young players want to wear the same uniform they're wearing. It's a privilege to be a part of this and to give back to the community."

Girls head coach Kerrie Massaro agreed.

"It's awesome," she said. "It's so fun for the older players. It's a great turnout."
