Adult Acting Classes at Playhouse on Park (Intro, Advanced, & Private Sessions)

WEST HARTFORD, CT: If you have ever dreamed of taking your place in the limelight or rediscovering a lost love for the stage, Playhouse Theatre Group Inc. at Playhouse on Park is offering a variety of adult acting classes that will introduce you to theater and give you the skills needed to channel hidden talents and bring a character to life. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned actor, the playhouse will help you hone your skills and perfect various acting styles, all culminating in a polished personal monologue.

Beginning on October 5th and running through November 30th, classes are available as introductory, advanced, and private coaching sessions to be led by Sean Harris, the co-founder and co-artistic director of Playhouse on Park.

Introductory classes are hands on and include focus on improvisation, voice & movement for stage, as well as character development and audition skills. Advanced sessions take you through the techniques of Strasgerb, Meisner, Linklaker, and Boal and in-depth scene work, ideal for recent performing arts graduates and experienced performers. All Classes are held at Hall High School, 975 North Main Street, West Hartford, CT 06117.
