Candlelit Evening Tours

This winter, the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society will offer a unique experience to its visitors. On the evenings of January 13 and February 10, guests can see the historic house on candle-lit tours. They will get a chance to see the beauty of the home by candle light, hear tales of Webster’s life, and see the garret (the home’s historic attic).

Tours will begin at 5:30, 6:30, and 7:30 p.m. and will end with a cup of  colonial hot chocolate by the hearth of the museum’s reproduction 18th    century kitchen.

The cost per person is $10 for adults and $7 for children ages 5 and up. Children age 4 and under are free. Reservations are required. Visit www.NoahWebsterHouse.org or call 860-521-5362 x21. Each tour is limited to 12 people.
