Hartford Art School Faculty to Put Artwork from Their Personal Collections on Display

The Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford will present Faculty Collects, an exhibition of selected work from the personal art collections of Hartford Art School faculty members. The artwork ranges in media, from ceramics, etchings, and woodcuts to oil paintings, illustration, photographs, and artists books.

The exhibit will include work by former faculty, and alumni, as well as pieces by nationally and internationally recognized artists with no affiliation to the Hartford Art School.

A reception to mark the opening of the exhibition, which is free and open to the public, is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibit will be open from Sept. 2—22.
