Hartford Premiere of “In Heaven Underground” at 16th Annual Mandell JCC Hartford Jewish Film Festival, March 22, 2012

In Heaven Underground - 16th Annual Hartford Jewish Film Festival

Thursday, March 22, 2012, 6:00 pm at the Criterion/Bow Tie Cinema, Blue Back Square, West Hartford, CT.

An enchanting journey into history that celebrates life and the immortality of memories, this is the story of the peaceful and secluded 130-year-old Weissensee Jewish Cemetery, the oldest Jewish burial ground in Europe and still in use. It features a delightful array of characters: mourners, tourists, a young family residing at the cemetery, a third-generation gravedigger and an ornithologist studying rare
birds of prey.
