Johnny Rizzo Headlines Comedy Night at Playhouse on Park

Live from the Playhouse, it's Comedy Night! After welcoming Sam Greenfield in September, Playhouse on Park's Comedy Night is back for a no-holds-barred, “BYOB” night of laughs sponsored by Parkview Wines and Spirits.

Headlining this installment of the series is Johnny Rizzo. An Emmy-nominated comedian, Rizzo has performed in the country's top comedy clubs including Dangerfield's and The Gotham and opened for a number of big names such as Jay Leno, Joan Rivers, and legends Ray Charles and Frankie Valli. Audiences may also recognize the Connecticut comic from appearances on FOX TV, A&E's “Comedy on the Road”, and movies like “Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”. The laughs don't stop there. Opening for Rizzo is Mike Jacobs, a hilarious Hartford-native who's edgy autobiographical humor has had audiences in stitches up and down the east coast. He's been named one of the top comedians in competitions such as the 2011 “Stand Up 360” NYC Comedy Festival, and Treehouse Comedy's “Funniest Comic in New England” and also appeared in the Independent Documentary, “Why Stand Up”.

It's 3 comedians, 90 minutes of laughter! Kick off your Thanksgiving weekend right, with this night of fun!
