The South Church Chamber Society

The Music Series at South Church, 90 Main Street, New Britain, Connecticut, will present The South Church Chamber Society with pianist David Westfall and The Colorado String Quartet on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 4:00 PM. The Colorado Quartet will play Laura Kaminsky’s Transformations (Quartet #1) and Ludwig van Beethoven’s String Quartet in B-flat Major, Opus 18 #6. They will be joined by David Westfall for Johannes Brahms’ magnificent Piano Quintet in F Minor. The concert marks the tenth anniversary concert of the South Church Chamber Music Society. The Colorado String Quartet has been praised by critics for their “amazing mix of individual and ensemble musicianship” and their “cohesion, grace, and complete understanding of the music.” A reception follows.
