Women for Change brings Lamb's Umbrellas for Peace to the University of Hartford. Community members are welcome to participate and paint umbrellas with messages of peace on Thursday, April 5 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. in Gengras Student Union, Room 335.
This event is part of the global art project, Lamb's Umbrellas for Peace. Participants will become part of a community representing two dozen countries who have designed umbrellas, symbolizing protection, to represent their personal values of world peace.
Umbrellas, paint and brushes will be provided.
