West Hartford Women's Chorale Spring Concert

The West Hartford Women’s Chorale will present its annual Spring Concert on Friday, June 1, at 7:30 p.m. at Bristow Middle School, 34 Highland Street, West Hartford. The public is invited to attend. There are no tickets, but free will donations are welcome at the door. The audience is invited to a reception following the concert.

 

The Chorale will perform music in the themes of Spring and Love, with styles ranging from classical to pop. Classical pieces will include Veni, Domine, composed by Felix Mendelssohn, and four songs written by Johannes Brahms for women’s chorus.

The West Hartford Women’s Chorale is a non-profit organization comprised of women from more than a dozen towns in the Hartford area. The Chorale is a non-audition community choral group that holds open rehearsals every September. The Chorale is directed by Dr. Ethan Nash and is accompanied on piano by Barbara Robbins. The purpose of the Chorale is to promote artistic growth and enjoyment of chorale music in the community through music education, collaborations, and support of other community organizations.
