West Hartford Women's Chorale Winter Concert

 

The West Hartford Women’s Chorale will present its annual Winter Concert on Friday, December 16, at 7:30 p.m. at Bristow Middle School, 34 Highland Street, West Hartford. The public is invited to attend. There are no tickets, but free will donations are welcome at the door. The audience is invited to a reception following the concert.

 The concert music will consist of various seasonal pieces including two variations of Laudate Pueri Dominum, one composed by Michael Haydn and one by Felix Mendelssohn. The chorale will also perform Psalm 143, a choral piece composed by Dr. Ethan Nash, the Chorale’s Music Director. Student musicians from the West Hartford schools will also be featured.

The West Hartford Women’s Chorale is a non-profit organization comprised of women from more than a dozen towns in the Hartford area. The Chorale  is a non-audition community choral group that holds open rehearsals every September. The Chorale is directed by Dr. Ethan Nash and is accompanied on piano by Barbara Robbins. The purpose of the Chorale is to promote artistic growth and enjoyment of chorale music in the community through music education, collaborations, and support of other community organizations.
