Richard III in the Park

Capital Classics Theatre Company presents Richard III for this year's "Shakespeare in the Park" at Saint Joseph College.

"Now is the winter of our discontent," declared the villainous Gloucester, or Richard III, on a warm summer evening at Saint Joseph College.

For the past several days, the Classics Capital Theatre Company has been performing Richard III for its "Shakespeare in the Park" series at in West Hartford. As the audience watched the tragedy unfold, some also took advantage of the nice weather and picnicked on the lawn.

The Capital Classics Theatre Company was formed in 1991, in order to "enrich the cultural environment of Greater Hartford."
